LOCHI receives continued funding from the Australian Government

The Report of the Independent Review of the Hearing Services just came out! NAL is pleased to note that one of the key recommendations to the Australian Government is to support meaningful longitudinal studies that align with the research strategy. Additionally, we are pleased to announce that NAL has received continued funding and support from the Australian Government for the Longitudinal Outcomes of Children with Hearing Impairment (LOCHI) Study. With research publications since 2009, LOCHI is the most comprehensive, population-based study that has provided rich data and evidence-based recommendations to positively impact paediatric hearing health around the world. NAL would like to thank the Department of Health for acknowledging the contribution of LOCHI and for the ongoing support of NAL’s research initiatives to improve the hearing health of all Australians.
