Jane Oliver

Jane Oliver is a research audiologist (re-joining NAL in 2020) and a clinical paediatric specialist. She commenced work with Hearing Australia in 1997 after graduating from the University of Queensland where received the diagnostic audiology prize. Jane is based at Mt Gravatt hearing centre in Brisbane where she looks after the amplification needs of babies through to young adulthood. Jane was an instigator for Hearing Australia’s involvement in the QCH Childhood Hearing Clinic which comprises of a multi-disciplinary team supporting newly diagnosed babies and their families particularly during their first hearing aid fitting program. Recently the CHC team won an “excellence in teams” Qld Health award. Jane has also worked at the University of Qld as a supervisor (2006/7) in the CAPD clinic and she continues to be engaged in clinical supervision and training for emerging paediatric audiologists at Hearing Australia.
