Dr Weicong Li is an acoustics scientist specialised in speech and language technologies and data science. Weicong’s research career started at the MARCS Institute, Western Sydney University after completing his PhD in physics UNSW Sydney. Weicong studied in various fields including materials science and acoustics, and has been collaborating with numerous researchers on interdisciplinary projects related to speech and language, musical acoustics, mental health, etc. Weicong has broad interests in speech and language, acoustics, data science, signal processing and AI. Over the years Weicong has developed a set of skills in these areas, and is willing to contribute his knowledge and expertise to new projects while exploring in the field of paediatric audiology.
