Katja works in the Strategy and Innovation department at NAL as an Innovation Administration Assistant. She is passionate about increasing access to healthcare by solving complex, systemic problems with design methodologies. During her time at university, she has worked with a range of industry partners such as Sydney City Council, Merkle ANZ, the Port of Newcastle and PwC to improve their organisational practices. In 2022, Katja completed two internships at NAL, including an independent research project to explore the potential impact of over-the-counter hearing aids on Australia’s hearing industry and devise a research strategy to address the change.
Katja currently assists in managing the communications at NAL as well as promoting innovation practices both within the organisation and externally.
Katja is currently completing a Bachelor of Advanced Science majoring in Pre-Medicine and a Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation at the University of Technology Sydney.
