Defining Outcomes for the Hearing Services Program

NAL has produced a report for the Department of Health to inform on which outcome domains best measure successful hearing rehabilitation in the Hearing Services Program.

The report, entitled Defining Outcomes for the Hearing Service Program highlights the four top ranked outcome domains, which are communication ability, personal relationships, well-being and participation. Seven recommendations are provided, including those relating to a potential future national outcomes database. You can download the public summary here and the full report here.
