There are many in the community who, because of disabilities, are unable to respond in a meaningful way to pure tone audiometric or speech testing. These include those suffering from cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism as well as the developmentally delayed and multiply handicapped. This poster presents case studies which illustrate the value of obtaining click-evoked otoacoustic emission records in preliminary evaluation of the need for amplification.
